JUICY JUSTICE... A CELEBRATION OF OUR BODIES AND EROTIC POWER!
This is a fun, provocative, and energetic dance/ dialogue based workshop rooted in discovering our sensual selves and exploring, owning, and living in your unique erotic power!
What comes up when you hear the word erotic? How does your body move when you feel beautiful? Is sensuality sexuality? Are you empowered in your body? What are you doing just to survive from day to day? Are you taking time for the sensual?
Come dance, celebrate, discuss, laugh big, snack sensually, and get juicy!
BREAKIN' OUT! HOUSE PARTIES BACK IN FUL EFFECT!
Continuing to carve out sacred spaces where women can laugh, heal, create, and build collectively, we will kick off our first returning NYC sister circle in Brooklyn, WOOT WOOT! Be on the look out for more information and Definitely let us know if you'd like to host a Breakin' Out! party in your home or otherwise. We would love to collaborate with you and see the circles/community travel from home to home!

We are super excited about having been invited to collaborate with two AMAZING organizations, SPIRITHOUSE & BETTY'S DAUGHTER ARTS COLLABORATIVE, during their long standing and radical 12-week sista circle residency program in Durham, NC, GUMBO YaYa. They will be deeply engaging the community there around "Reproductive Justice". Breakin' Out! will be participating and also presenting our 3-part Erotic Power Series.
"Gumbo YaYa is an intentional space for Black women to get together and talk, honor themselves, and make art. ... Creative expression is a luxury. Creative expression is a means to (wo)manifest our entire selves, (w)holistically. Shani Colins (SNIC) will be teaching "Em(Power)ment Through Dance Technique Class" at Duke University's American Dance Festival. She has been teaching amazing classes and fiercely performing there since 2006, and has been a member of the ADF family since 1993!
